Visit to the children’s and young people’s hospice

Ward manager Lisbeth Refshauge Højer left. og Helle Petersen (StorySoldier) right.

We received a warm welcome at Strandbakkehuset, when the four of us arrived (Tiny Heinie, Dad, Me and Formula 1 driver Sanne Brodersen).
A huge thank-you to Lisbeth Refshauge Højer, leader of the center, who showed us around the beautiful children’s and young people’s hospice.

StorySoldier has dedicated its Rump universe to children’s and young people’s hospices.
The profits from my first crochet book, based on the children’s book about Tiny Heinie, contributes to read & do-it-yourself activities at Denmark’s two children’s and young people’s hospices: Lukashuset in Hellerup and Strandbakkehuset in Rønde.

My visit to Strandbakkehuset was very inspiring, educational, and heartwarming.
On my Instagram @storysoldier, I have a little story about the visit – and tomorrow, you can read more about the other Rump gifts I brought to Strandbakkehuset here on the page – under ”News.”
